Representative Payee / Support Services
Throughout the service area, a Client Services Worker provides
Representative Payee Support for persons with developmental
disabilities living independently in the community receiving SSI
and SSDI. In addition to the financial record keeping involved,
the worker assists with budgeting and managing
monetary skills.
The worker also assists community persons and their families with
applications for Public Aid, SSI / SSD, and Circuit Breaker funds.
Transportation assistance is provided for persons to varied community
resources (grocery story, medical / dental appointments, Salvation
Army food / toy baskets, parent / teacher conferences, etc.).
