Our son Dallas is severely autistic, he is totally non-verbal. He is 6’7” and weighs in around 230. He can be a handful when he has aggressive anger issues. Dallas had been is a facility prior to Pathway which we believed to be a wonderful place for our son. It closed its doors during COVID. We had to relocate our son. Through faith and prayer, we found Pathway. We could never have imagined anyplace as loving and kind as Pathway.

Dallas is well cared for. He is well groomed, and well nourished. He attends a work program, and he goes on outings. Dallas loves his home at Pathway. Most importantly, he has a life!

Recently, Dallas developed serious health issues. Pathway staff closely monitored his condition. He was in and out of the hospital 11 times which included two surgeries. I believe Dallas had reached a point where he didn’t want to live. He didn’t want to eat; he didn’t want to drink anything, and wouldn’t even get out of bed to go to the bathroom. At this lowest point, his vital signs where sustaining life was not likely. His loving staff cared for him and nurtured him. They finally found a medical facility that would address his special needs. Dallas is now completely back to being himself. I am convinced that if it had not been for the intense care
concern he received at Pathway, we would have lost him. We are blessed to have our son at Pathway.
