A Health Care Worker Registry Check is required by Illinois law and/or the Agency. An applicant/employee for any position in our Agency shall not be hired and may be terminated if the Health Care Worker Registry report indicates such person is identified as having substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, egregious neglect or financial exploitation. There is no charge for this registry check.
Applicants must meet the following requirements: Minimum of High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and an insurable driving record. Applicants must be able to be qualified to complete and/or have completed the following: Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) test, Health Care Worker Registry Check, Background Checks, a Rapid Drug Screen, and a Pre-Employment Physical and Essential Functions Test.
