Pathway Services operates a Community Day Services (CDS) Program at its main location, the Pathway Plaza. The main goal of the CDS Program is to hone the skills of those enrolled to achieve their highest potential and highest possible outcome. For some who are enrolled in the program, this could mean working independently in the community at a local business. For others, it could mean working as part of Pathway’s Work Crew, assisting local businesses with janitorial work, contract work, material handling or other paid work opportunities driven by the surrounding community. For a percentage of the people enrolled in the CDS Program, paid work might not be the best option for them, either due to a personal choice or their own ability level at the present time. However, we provide various levels of engagement activities for everyone in the program, so that no one day is the same. We realize that each person learns at their own pace, be that at the workplace, in the community or within our training program at CDS. We work with the person to meet them where they are at a basic level and build from there. Every person we support has an opportunity to contribute at Pathway.
